The Hikvision DS-2CE72UF3T-LSYE is an advanced 8MP 4K analogue ColorVu turret CCTV camera designed to deliver detailed surveillance footage day and night. Combining Hikvision ColorVu technology, an ultra-wide F1.0 aperture and Smart Hybrid Light, the camera provides flexible night-time monitoring with both infrared and white-light illumination.
Smart Hybrid Light allows the camera to operate using discreet IR illumination or switch to white light for full-colour imaging, giving installers greater flexibility when securing homes, businesses, offices, warehouses and other commercial premises. Both IR and white-light illumination provide a range of up to 40 metres.
The camera features a 2.8mm fixed lens with a wide 105° horizontal field of view, making it well suited to monitoring entrances, driveways, gardens, shops, offices and other wide surveillance areas. Its 3840 × 2160 4K resolution captures excellent image detail, while 130dB True WDR helps maintain visibility in scenes containing strong backlighting or challenging contrasts.
A built-in microphone provides audio recording with pickup at distances of up to approximately 5 metres. Audio can be transmitted over the coaxial cable, helping simplify installation when used with compatible Hikvision recording equipment.
For straightforward analogue CCTV upgrades and new installations, the DS-2CE72UF3T-LSYE supports Power over Coax (PoC) when connected to compatible equipment, allowing video and power to be carried using coaxial cabling. This makes it particularly useful when upgrading an existing coax-based CCTV system to high-resolution 4K surveillance.
Designed for reliable indoor or outdoor operation, the turret camera carries an IP67 weather-resistance rating and features a robust metal main body. It can operate in temperatures from -40°C to 60°C, making it suitable for demanding residential and commercial CCTV applications.
